I plan to migrate an accounting software to openerp. Now I see that in the previous software, each product category will have its own account number
For example
- Drugs
Income Account : 200001 Drugs Sales
Expense Account: 500001 Drugs Expense
- Medical Tools
Income Account : 200002 Medical Tools Sales
Expense Account : 500002 Medical Toos Expense
Do I need to setup single or multiple sales Journal for the above ? For example Drug Sales Journal, Medical Sales Journal ?
If it's single sales journal, whats the default debit account and default credit account for the journal ? Is there a way to consolidate all sales to one account ?
