Hi,
It will depend upon the requirement and needs. Mainly the modules for a retail shop are Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Accounting. Also, you can check the Point of sale module, whether it suits your business.
The selection of the modules depends on you if you are looking for only a few modules, you can handle, sales and purchase using the accounting itself, for the sales you can create the customer invoices and for the purchase, you can use the vendor bills.
Its all up to you to choose the modules, as you are the one who knows your business and its flows well.

If Odoo can implement a feature to know who accepted the answers and who all are liked and disliked will be nice.
