Restrict product category to user

Question

I am dealing with a hospital where I want to restrict users/staff members of a department (for example, pharmacy) to view only the products related to pharmacy and not other.

so this way, we will allocate product categories to the user from "user management.
Is there any solution or module for it?

There is a way to do so.
You can add product category (m2o field) in User and create one record rule so that user can access only those category of products he belongs to.

I recommend to create particular groups for which certain product categories are allocated using record rules and assign these groups to the users.
You can control to each user what categories he can see and this way modifying the access to any user becomes very flexible and easy without having to do any new customisation to standard Odoo.

Don't we already have a field named product category in odoo? can we play with that field for it?
