I have a multi language page and wonder how i can reset a translated page back to main default language so i can translate it back again.

Let's say the default website language is in English and I have a translated page in Spanish.

I want the translated page (Spanish) revert back to English.


The background is that, when i have translated a page and i do changes in the main default language, the reflection to the translated page will become very messy. 

So i just want to reset it and translate it back with the auto full page translator that we now have in Odoo19.

Hi,

To reset a translated webpage in Odoo 19 to its original language for retranslation, there is no direct "revert" button. However, the key is to understand that Odoo creates duplicated views for translations, and modifying the original language version after translation can break the link between the original and the translated versions. Therefore, after making changes to the original language content, you'll likely need to manually re-translate the content by going to your website, switching to the translated language, activating translation mode(by clicking on 'Edit' in the top right and clicking on 'Translate'), and then editing the text blocks to provide the new translations. Be cautious about the order in which you carry out translations or modifications in the source language, as every modification of the source language will require you to recreate the translations.
