I am trying to configure the inventory for a research company. They have a lab and deal with products that are in a stock that has many (sub)locations. Once they take a product out of their stock to the lab, it must be considered as an internal transfer as well as consider this product as not in stock anymore. They must also be able to trace where in the lab the product was taken to. Has anyone already dealt with research companies and know how I could configure such a flow when taking out a product from the stock?

Hi Margot,
By being "able to trace where in the lab the product was taken to", are you referring to the sublocations? What are these - research, quality, testing? What happens to the products after they've gone through the sublocations?
