Hi,


My reports miss the company footer when generated through the interface, i.e. when trying to send them by email, or when printing them.

When I genreate them by calling the web a, i.e. http:///report/pdf/sale.report_saleorder/38 the PDF look correct including the footer.

I guess that means that wkhtmltopdf is working correctly. What is the difference between using the GUI and calling the web API directly concerning the generation of the PDF? Is a different template used?


Any ideas what could cause this inconsistent behaviour?

how can I adjust the paper format?

Found it. Settings -> Technical -> Paper Format

This did not change the generation of the report.


But I found something different: Wether or not the footer is correct depends on the client! If I call it from my desktop PC I get the PDF with a footer. If I call the API page from my laptop there is no footer. I have no idea how the client can make a difference in this? (same version of chrome browser)

Disable the debug mode for the user in question. This removes the difference between clients and it makes the footer appear on GUI calls.

Can you adjust the paper format and see if it makes any difference:  Bottom Margin (mm)
