When I press the "oder once“ button on the replenishment dashboard, odoo creates a manufacturing order instead of a purchase order, although the product has a vendor and the route is set to „buy“.
What could be the reason for that? What did I do wrong?? Any ideas?

I have a similar question.
We have multi company.
In company A we have a manufacturing route
Company B will purchase from company A via Buy route so I enabled buy route as well.
Now the product has both MTO route, manufacturing route and Buy route.
I have created two replenishment rules, for company A and B, both with the designated route.
Now the problem, in Company A, when we have an order, a purchase order is created in stead of a manufacturing order.
Does someone have a clue?

Automatic reordering rules, enabled by setting the reordering rule’s Trigger field to Auto, generate purchase or manufacturing orders.
-If the Buy route is selected, then an RFQ is generated. To view and manage RFQs, navigate to Purchase app ->Orders ->Requests for Quotation.
- If the Manufacture route is selected, then an MO is generated. To view and manage MOs, navigate to Manufacturing app -> Operations ->Manufacturing Orders.

Unfortunately it doesn’t solve the problem. I did select the Buy route, but instead of an RFQ, a MO is generated. What could cause that misbehaviour?
Please share the screenshot of the replenishment record of that product.
