The title is pretty self explanatory. I receive boxes of raw material that vary around 50 kgs. Some have 48, some have 52, and sometimes even 55. When I receive, I need to regsiter each box, so I need to create a lot number and enter the weight. I have to do this for several boxes of the same material, for all the raw material I receive. Sometimes up to 20 different raw materials. So I can receive up to 200 boxes in a single reception. The boxes don't have a barcode I can use.... sadly. So I need to print a barcode to manage it inside my inventory. I create a purchase order for 200 kg (for example) and then I receive four boxes that I need to register at reception and enter the exact weight. Any ideas how to register each box?

You could enable the packages functionality and track the box.

to enable, Inventory > Configuration > Settings

On your receipt operation, you can 'put in pack' and then track the product ty in each box

Thanks for the suggestion. That's what I was thinking. Just two quesitons, maybe you know haow to do this. 1. When I print a label for the box, do I put the barcode of the product or the barcode of the package? 2. If I use only part of the product contained on the box, how to I register that change in the quantity of the box?

You would want to track the package so package barcode.(A package can have multiple products).
Using inventory operations while you register the product moves you have the option to provide source and destination package, the operation would register the product & qty changes in the packages.
You can also ‘unpack’ a package if you wish to track product.
While it is an additional layer, in your instance it would help with tracking as you receive and store by boxes with varying qty.
