Location type "View"

Question

Hi,
I don’t see *“Location Type = View”* anymore when creating stock locations in Odoo, but it’s still referenced in the official documentation.

Is *View* deprecated/removed in recent versions?
What’s the recommended way now to create parent/structural locations — just use any type (e.g. Internal)?

Hello,
From v18 onward the type "view" has been changes as a virtual, you can use the "virtual" type instead of the view
