You can buy this connector from odoo appstore.
It is easy to setup and has builtin integration

Hello Keyaan,

To import an Excel file and extract data from it into Odoo, you can follow these steps:

  1. Prepare the Excel File: Ensure that your Excel file is formatted correctly and contains the data you want to import into Odoo. The data should be organized in columns and rows.
  2. Navigate to the Appropriate Module: Navigate to the Odoo module where you want to import the data. For example, if you want to import data related to products, navigate to the Products module.
  3. Access the Import Functionality: Look for an "Import" or "Import/Export" option within the module you're working with. This option is usually available through a button or under a menu.
  4. Upload the Excel File: Click on the "Import" or "Import/Export" option, and then click on the "Import" button to begin the process. Choose the Excel file you want to import from your local machine and upload it.
  5. Map Excel Columns to Odoo Fields: Odoo will typically prompt you to map the columns from the Excel file to the corresponding fields in Odoo. This step is crucial for ensuring the data is imported correctly. Map each column to the appropriate Odoo field.
  6. Validate and Import Data: After mapping the columns, Odoo will usually provide a validation step where you can review the mapped data. Ensure that the data is correctly mapped and no errors are reported.
  7. Complete the Import: If the validation is successful, proceed to complete the import. Odoo will import the data into the respective module.
  8. Review and Confirm: After the import is complete, review the imported data within the Odoo module to ensure it was imported accurately.

Note: The specific steps and options may vary slightly based on the Odoo version you're using, so it's important to refer to the Odoo documentation or consult your system administrator for precise instructions in your Odoo version.
