How would be the case when we use material to produce a part of an assembly and the rest of that material, we want to re-enter it to de erp as an other category material, For example: We use a sheet of steel which has determined dimensions, and we have some scrap from it that we will reserve to create other components later on, so, we need to register that "new" material. How do we do that?

There is an option in manufacturing to create By Products. Never used it, but you should test.
