Im doing a Quiz from udemy course to pass the odoo certificate (v16) and Im sure that the answer to this question is wrong. 


Question:

Sales: What will the scheduled purchase order date be if you validate a sales order on October 25th, knowing the product is set to ‘’Buy’’ with a ‘’MTO’’ route, with a ‘’Customer Lead Time’’ set to 10 Days, a ‘’ Vendor Lead Time’’ set to 6 Days, and ‘’ Company Security Lead Time’’ for purchases is set to 2 Days?


Answer:

October 23rd

October 27th (correct)

November 1st


This answer is none sense, does anybody know how it works the times in odoo?

Customer lead time is 10 days, so delivery date is set as 4th Nov. 

Now working backwards, it takes 6 days for vendor and 2 days for purchase process adding to 8 days.

Hence the purchase order would be scheduled for 27th Oct
