POS is great for the sales people as it removes all the clutter and allows for quick order keying.
What about the other end of the mail order cycle ? Pick and Pack is the same repetitive scenario.
I hope one day we can have a POS and a POD
POD - simplified GUI idea : show allocated sales orders click an order to print pick note (delivery slip with product bin location) pick the items click the order to confirm pick option to print invoice pack items click the order to confirm pack (dispatch)
..maybe even get this onto a handheld WinCE device with a bracode scanner - OpenErp POD for WinCE
