POS is great for the sales people as it removes all the clutter and allows for quick order keying.

What about the other end of the mail order cycle ? Pick and Pack is the same repetitive scenario.

I hope one day we can have a POS and a POD

POD - simplified GUI idea : show allocated sales orders click an order to print pick note (delivery slip with product bin location) pick the items click the order to confirm pick option to print invoice pack items click the order to confirm pack (dispatch)

..maybe even get this onto a handheld WinCE device with a bracode scanner - OpenErp POD for WinCE

mmm... i can see a 5 month old unanswered question asking for the link url but no reply. video features look good though.

after spending a load of time messaging the various contact methods i finally got a reply from vnc who made this module... it looks very nice but they are asking Euro 3000. Thats a lot of money...

Syleam module (v6)

If you need to be able to create specific process for your logistic. One great module you could try to use is the syleam stock_scanner addon. For version 6.0, might be ported to 7.0 soon.

However, the last version is Github on https://github.com/syleam/stock_scanner

It allows you to use scenarios to be done with you scanner. For now, you will only find a inventory scenario in examples.

It comes with a python script that should be installable on Windows CE
