I want to apply a reordering rule for one of my product where the quantity on hand is 0; I go to one of my products from the sales app and set the reordering rule as follow:
Min qty: 5
Max qty: 10
I set the vendor for the product > so now if i'm creating a sales order; so basically i choose my vendor > I choose that specific product for which i chose the reordering rule; and the next to the quantity, a red "i" type logo will appear which means i don't have quantity on hand which is correct. So, let's say i confirm the order, and then a delivery will be created on the same page and the status will be waiting which means we need to purchase the product however odoo will do create an RFQ in the purchase app > so if we go to the purchase app, there won't be any self-generated RFQ which simply means i will need to run the scheduler for that specific product in the purchase app > reordering rule and then run the scheduler; and then if i go to my RFQs in my purchase app, i don't see the generated RFQ that will require me to purchase the product so that i can sell it later on.
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Accounting
- Inventory
- PoS
- Project management
- MRP

Most of your configuration is correct. Please make sure you have tick/set the "Buy" route in the product to create the RFQ based on reordering rules.
Correct! I did the same; again when i want to run the scheduler, there's no purchase order.
