Hi,

We have a client that wants to have proposals generated by answering questions on a questionnaire and having an editable document generated based on those. It would be probably a mix of descriptive text being displayed based on the answers and costs associated with the products and services selected in the questionnaire. If you have seen a work order for technical services, it would look a bit like that were all the product and services would be listed as well as some free text areas.

Once finished, an editable document (odt I assume) would be generated and attached to the quotation and the file could be opened and modified as needed before being re-attached to the quotation.

Has anyone seen something like this or implemented something like this with existing Odoo modules.

Hello Martin,

Please refer this module: Sales Proposal Management.

This module allows you to easily create a sales proposal within the Odoo sales module. The modules allow you to set up a default proposal template which you can again customize if needed on a case-to-case basis. With proposal management, you can create multiple pages such as executive summary, introduction, solution description, etc. and you can only choose the pages you need per proposal. Also, all the proposals will remain inside the Odoo sales module for future reference and revisions. With this mode, you no more need to work on external word or excel files to create and submit your proposals.
