So I wrote a report. I'd like to let everybody in the chatter know that there is an update. I go to send a message. All it does is just create some highlighted message, but nobody gets an indication or anything in their chat/messages that something is occured.  

See look I go into my messages and there is zilch nothing.  Zip.  

So like what does this even do? People can't receive an update to my message in the chatter unless they are DIRECTLY sitting in it at the exact moment.  Does that mean that in order to check the 100's of updates I've sent via the chatter they have to go into the box and check directly where I indicated their name?
