Hi - is it possible to set up material consumption on tasks?
This is the use case:
1. Company sells fixed price construction project. Project is automatically created with the Sales Order.
2. Some of the materials are ordered specifically for the project. Lines on these POs are linked to the Project's Analytical Account.
3. Some of materials are ordered in bulk and used by multiple projects. These PO lines are not linked to the Project's Analytical Account.
4. Both types of materials need to be consumed on tasks as the construction advances. (e.g. lumber first, cables later)
5. Materials are picked up from the warehouse, moved to the construction site and consumed in one of the build tasks.
What is the best setup / configuration to have all material costs included in project costs and materials consumed on projects deducted from stock.
