Dear i have e-commerce business i which i m dealing with more than 20 categories of products.

Now my question is I'm purchasing products from manufacture that comes in two ways. Assorted or Solid. Assorted means Denim jeans of different sizes comes in 1 box of xx QTY with a set ratio or unequal ratio:

Size: 30, 32, 34, 36, 38,40 (Article Denim jeans Blue color)

Purchase order for  20 boxes of Denim jeans Blue Color:

Received 19 boxes as

[30" x (2),

32" x (2),

34" x (2),

36" x (2),

38" x (1) &

40 x "(1)]

Received 1 Box as

[30" x 2,

[34" x 4,

[38" x 4]

Now how can i receive these boxes and assign them a unique lot # or Pack number so that they will maintain their stock based on assign lot or pack number.

Two important factors:

1) Purchase should be done as pcs individually. or Solution?

2) Recording recepits as pack or pcs individually

Solutions Require in following areas:

1) How to record / maintain stock based on boxes and assign unique tracking number to each box

2) sales done on basis of single unit, for instances I got order of 30" for 12 units, in 10 days, i pick 1 unit from box 1 for first order, than
