Which of the following is the best configuration for handle production and test environments in the same server:
1 Odoo instance and 2 databases (Prod and Test) ?
2 Odoo instances with 2 databases (Prod and Test) ?
Or perhaps there is a third one ? :D

I think 2 odoo instances is better (one for production), when you work on your modules your need restart the server to many time for .py files update. Just try to keep both servers with same modules for sync database easily.
