I would like to know if the selection of a product type has any incidence of how products are valued in accounts
(From what I found, it would appear that the only difference between Consumable and Storable is the way replenishment is managed, manual/automatic)

The stock valuation depends on the Cost method of the product and cost price of product, which is mapped inside the internal category.(standard, average, FIFO)
The product_type 'stockable' will be used for stock replenishment.
