Hello

I'm facing a problem that I don't manage to solve even with using Package types.
I purchase a product, lets say Product A. This product's unit of measure is "kg", and my vendor sells it with 150kg per pallet.
When I purchase and receive this product in my warehouse (For example 300kg), I need to indicate that the first pallet of 150kg goes to location A and the second pallet goes to location B.
Is it possible to do so in Odoo without creating backorders ?
The idea would be to purchase 300kg, and that this purchase create 2 stock.move.lines in the receipt, one for each of the pallet.

Thank you for your help !

Thanks Jaideep it's not as ergonomic as I'd like it to be because the separation by pallet isn't automatic but has to be done manually.
However this solution is a good first step and I guess I could try to do some specific developpement to programm an automatic split.
Thanks for your help

Hello

Thank you for yor answer but it doesn't work in my situation.
My warehouse has a 2 step entry, and in the first step I'm oblige to send both of the pallets to WH/Input.
I need to separate the pallets after the initial reception, at the moment where my carrier put it into stock.
Do you have another idea ?

Thanks again.

You can use the detailed operation to provide qty and the storage locations in the receipt operation.

If your purchase UoM is Kg then you would need to split as 150kg. You can also define pallet (150 Kg) as the purchase UoM.
