Scenario:

odoo ver.: 16
Product Price decimal precision: 4

Let's say I have this product that has a minimum purchase price for a quantity of 8Litres for €14.26 (it's only sold in jerrycans of 8L).

In the purchase I must define the unit price for €0.7825 per Litre.

I now create a purchase order and when I fetch the product the price is pulled into the PO as €0.7800

Shouldn't it have been pulled with the previously defined €0.7825?

Looks like a bug, or am I defining something wrong here?

Am I wrong in expecting this renders the UoM of a product unusable?
For instance how does one define a product for manufacturing where the cost of the lenght unit (say inch) costs $0.0002 USD? there is no place where one can make this work?

Sorry but this seems so frustrating.

Totally agree! It seems that lot of people are having this problem.
It should surely be a simple fix where a manual entry is possible
