Hi everybody:
I have been testing community v13 version (though I
may change to another version if necessary as I am testing to implement
ODOO soon).
I work in an educational center where we have a
mechanical manufacturing workshop and I want to use Odoo to, among other
things, control the use of tools / parts / elements / ... by students
and teachers.
I want to achieve the following:
All tools / parts /
elements / ... are centralized in a room. When a teacher or student
needs any of them, they go to pick them up. I want both the student and
the teacher to put that information to ODOO in the simplest way. And the
same when they return what they have taken.
In this way I will have control of who has caught what and when.
To
do it in a very simple way and that the teacher and students do not
have to know much about ODOO system, we are considering installing an
RFID system at the access door to the class. The RFID would read the
card that the teacher / student has as well as the products they take
from the class.
Idem when they return the products.
In order to achive this:
- which ODOO version do you recommend me?
- What apps would I need? How should I do it? I'm lost...
Thank you!
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Accounting
- Inventory
- PoS
- Project
- MRP

I think the reason that this never got an answer is that it would require complex customisations to work. Sometimes it is much less painful to go with something simpler even if it requires a little more work.
