Problems with Odoo Studio

Odoo Studio (v14) randomly disappeared for some reason. I no longer have the icon in the toolbar at the top. So I tried to upgrade the app but I get the following error:

Exception: Module loading web_studio failed: file web_studio/security/ir.model.access.csv could not be processed:
 Invalid external ID base.group_system: expected model 'res.groups', found 'res.users'
Invalid external ID base.group_system: expected model 'res.groups', found 'res.users'

No sure why it disappeared and wondering if it has anything to do with this error.

Hi,

Problem seems to be of your database, rather than the module. Did you or any one played with External Identifiers in the database ?

The error message says that the External ID: base.group_system is expected to point to res.groups model, but in your db, it is pointing to a different table, ie, res.users.

You can activate the developer mode in the database and open the External Identifiers menu under Settings -> Technical and search for group_system and see to which record this id is pointing to and if it is pointing to a user, you have change it to point it to the groups.

Hi,

Try upgrading the base module and see if it works. If you have any custom modules installed, then you could try removing them and upgrading the web_studio module, if it's possible.If none of this works, then you could try it with the latest addons.
