I setup multiple currencies under invoicing-settings-configuration.  Works well in that if the person browsing the shop page selects CAD at the top of the page item prices show in CAD and if they select USD the items show the USD prices (based on the rate of conversion I put in the settings.  The problem is that although the CAD or USD shows at the top of the page it does not show along with the price at checkout.  The problem is that both CAD and USD have the same symbol ($) and so it just isn't clear enough to the shopper that they are going to be paying in CAD or USD.  Is there a way to clearly show the CAD or USD alongside the prices that the shopper sees on their screen and on their cart etc so that it is more clear to them.

Thank you kindly for your response. I have currency settings under 'invoicing' but not under 'accounting' (don't have the accounting installed). Within the currency setting under 'invoicing' there isn't an ability to changed the symbol - only currency name and abbreviation. Also, it looks like on your screen the chosen symbol is CAD which I assume would still show as '$' on the checkout screen?

try to activate developer mode and access currencies from settings.
It will show "CAD" during the checkout.

That worked like a charm. Not sure how 'dangerous' it might be to activate developer, however, when I did i see add'l options under the currency master data info (incl symbol). So i changed symbols for each of the currencies and then deactivated developer mode. Thank you.
