It will read the cost from product card and it will not allow to the price go more than the max margin or less than min margin
For example:
Product cost is $20
And sale price is $30
We set in price list min margin $5 and max margin $10, and we put in discount% in price list is 20%
So when we select the product it will be calculated as below:
$30 - 20% = $30 - $6 = $24
Our Margin is: $24 - $20 = $4, it is less than min margin
The system will be adjust the sale price: from $24 to $25
Thanks
tnx lot. complete answer.
i'm in trading company,in Odoo13, I need the sales price to be updated automatically after entering the vendor price to be able to quote the updated price to my customer.
but now it does not do automatically !
it only does when I manually change the QTY in the sales QUOTATION.
Is there any way to update the sales price automatically based on the vendor price?
You can use pricelist, and select cost - (-20%)
i didnt get right answer after configuring price formula
Just FYI for others reading the topic...
its not necessarily based on cost. its based on whatever you selected in "Based on" field.
If you are basing on other pricelist, then the margin limits would be using that pricelist's value, NOT cost.
