When I am inputting quantities for supplier references in a product master form I always have a doubt of what I am entering in terms of prices.

Let me explain with an example:

I have a liquid product which I manage in the following way

I start to introduce the purchase price values and I have the following

And the question begs itself every time. In the price column I have to put what:

1. The price of a L (which is the default inventory management unit in this instance)?
2. The price of 1 gallon (which is the default purchase unit for this product)?
3. Or the price of the Quantity*UoM?

The column heading should be self descriptive for either one of the preceding 3 options.
