Hello,

Yesterday received my brand new posbox raspbery purchased to odoo.com preconfigured with software.

I conect it to the ruter with a cable. I conect a epson t88 printer.

Nothing happens, no ip printed in the printer.


canot print tikets with a production pos.


I know that the raspberry is in the net beacuse angry scanner informs that it is ocuping ip 192.168.1.46


Any help please?

The configuration in POS you mentioned is ok. We registered the ip and the check in receipt prienter.

¿What about that the raspy did not prit his ip as mentioned in the documentation?

We are using odoo 9 CE for the pos. It is a server that has been working fine all 2017 for 5 companys with bars in the beach.




Every once in a while I have issues with ticket printers that print no IP too though. Has anything in the network or security configurations changed? Can you ping/reach the posbox through the webpage?

Hi Humanoide,

The fact that the Posbox is showing up in the network and occupying the IP means that it is in fact working fine.
The PosBox has a default HTML page from where you can see details about the device and everything connected to it, you might want to look at that page. You should have a look at the official documentation at https://www.odoo.com/documentation/user/11.0/point_of_sale/overview/setup.html

I believe you've forgotten to configure the PosBox settings in your Odoo (under Point of Sale > Configuration):
