Purchased raspberry pi2, followed instructions to format and load the posbox image (v15) and all was successful. When I then boot the pi after connecting all the devices, and I perform a lsusb command the posbox is not picking up the epson tm20 USB printer and the printer is not printing the ipaddress of the posbox. All the other USB devices (Keyboard, mouse, scanner) are picked up fine but I cannot continue any further since the printer is not being picked up. All the devices are brand new.
I am setting up the POS with Odoo Enterprise 10, but I cannot continue any further since the posbox is not even recognizing the printer.
I have tried changing the printers USB cable but this has not helped either.
Any urgent assistance on this is greatly appreciated.
After getting assistance from Odoo support we isolated the problem to the Printer. The TM20-II comes with the USB port deactivated, so this had to be activated. Once activated and connected to the PI2 everything worked.
