Hi,

I am trying to setup a number of pos machines (non pos box) to a central Odoo server on Ubuntu OS.

I am unclear on the instructions for installing the pos and have been trying for a number of ays now.

- In the dependancies it says you need  A running Odoo instance you connect to to load the Point of Sale. Is this instance on the machine that will house the pos or is it referring to the server that the pos will interact with.

- In the step by step instructions there is no mention of loading the pos box image, please can I get some clarification.

really am very lost at this point

Please help

I'm not an expert of pos. But if you have 10 computers. You should have one classic Odoo server with point_of_sale module installed and 10 simple browser. It should be enough i think.
The pos box and so the pos box image is only there to add printer, scanner and co. But if you have a computer, it should be equivalent.
To confirm... by other user who use it... ?
