Is there any way to close a POS session ,while there is still some orders left unpaid in some tables.

Our client is a resort where people stay overnight and couple of days and they order food from the restaurant and we have created tables that represent each rooms the order comes from.

What can be the solution here in order to handle this situation. Can we take a backup of remaining orders and import it in the next session?

What do you recommend?

In Odoo ERP, you can close a Point of Sale (POS) session even if there are unpaid orders on some tables. Here's how you can do it:

Open the Odoo POS app.

Go to the POS session you want to close.

Click on the "Close Session" button or navigate to the session settings and select "Close Session" from the dropdown menu.

Odoo will prompt you to confirm the closure of the session. Click "OK" to proceed.

Once you close the session, any open orders will be automatically saved and can be retrieved in the future. Your data will be safe, and you can continue processing those orders when the POS session is reopened.

Thanks & Regards,

I dont think that is possible, "You cannot close a POS session when orders are still in draft " is the error message stopping me from closing the session
