Good morning!

Does anyone know if Odoo has a item type that instead of a price, is a percentage of the previous item(s)?

We just migrated from Netsuite, and it used to have a part type called discount which would act as a markup/discount of the line above, and wondering if Odoo had something similar.  When the item ("discount" in the example below) was added to the order, it would take the previous line, and calculate the total.

eg:

Part Desc Price Extended

ABCD Random Part $10 $10

Discount Discount 5% 0.50

Total $9.50

Thank you for any assistance.

Thank you for the reply!

Can you show me where you set the 15%? And would this work as a 15% surcharge as well?

Thank you!!

Thank you.

I was looking for a method that auto calculated from the preceding item line(s), rather than having to hand calculate it. In netsuite, this was a item type called Markup (instead of either consumable or storable), and it's "price" was a percentage. When you added the line to an order, it use said percentage and it's line "price" would be the percentage of the line(s) above it.

This would be used in say an instance were a credit card fee was needed to be added, or "shop supplies" which is based on a percentage of the labour line item.
