Hello

I have restraunt i'm trying to run it with odoo.

now i'm trying to add the cost of the bag and the wrapping paper (it's kinda of expensive) for my sandwiches in take away orders.

can anyone point to any tutorial that can help me on how to sell the same sandwich in two options

1-dine in (no extra cost)

2- delivery or take away with packing cost  ?

any help will be appreciated, thanks.

You have two options:

  1. Product Variants or

  2. Take Away Product

Variant Method:

Create 2 variants of each sandwich and one variant has an extra cost. Each variant shows up on your POS. You can have different packaging costs for different products this way.

Take Away Product:

Here you physically add another line item to the bill. (But it is easiest to accomplish.)  The POS would let you press the Take Away button 3 times if you sold 3 sandwiches, and have one line item for sum of all the packaging.
