I've tried to add the Outlook extension for Odoo v14+e for a colleague of mine, but ran into a strange problem. The shortcut works in the online Outlook365 environment but in the PC-app it stays grey and can't be selected. We've tried reinstalling it several times and logged out and in multiple times. We've even waited a full day to see if it might "sync" in any way, but it didn't. When installing the extension for myself it worked immediately after following the online manual. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

Enable/Disable Add-ins
Open the Microsoft Outlook client.
Select “File” > “Options“.
Choose “Add-ins” on the left pane.
At the bottom of the window, ensure the “Manage” drop-down has “COM Add-ins” selected, then select the “Go…” button.
Check the Add-ins you wish to turn on.
Select “OK” when you're done.

Hope This Works,
Peter

Hi John, i've noticed the same behaviour myself. What Outlook version do you use? I'm on Outlook 2019 Desktop (Windows).
This seems to be a problem with the latest version released alongside V15 in October.
The old version still works both on desktop and web versions of Outlook.

Try using that one until someone resolves the issue.

Regards, Chris
