I have an issue when it comes to the Purchase module.

I have items that are imported, and hence I require them in complete pellets rather than half pallets as it is more economical. How would I be able to do that with accounting for my current inventory?



Eg: 

I import product A from USA

1 full pallet contains 700 kg of Product A. 1 full pallet of Product A is less than 2 half pallets of product A.

Naturally, I would like to order 1 pallet of product A and save some for later use. 

Can Purchase module calculate this with current stock in mind and round off the order to a specific amount of quantity close to a pallet?

You can create new UOMs for pallet and 1/2 pallet with category 'weight' and provide the applicable ratios

Settings > Inventory > Units Of Measure
