Hi everyone!

Trying to migrate to Odoo11, Im struggling with the reports. The last issue I am facing gives me the following message in logs:

odoo.models: res.company.write() with unknown fields: active_id, active_ids, active_model, default_report_name, discard_logo_check, journal_type, lang, params, search_disable_custom_filters, type, tz, uid

And open the "Choose Your Document Layout" window instead of printing the document. (And does nothing after I save the chosen layout).

It appears at multiple different places when I try to print a report. For example: from "Print Invoice" button (but not from the Print menu), when I try to print the general ledger from Chart of Account, from "Print" button in Quotation (but not in the Print menu), ... But from the Print menu, it always works!

I got this same issue and it took a while to resolve but in the end what worked in my case was:

Go into your company and add a logo.

I am still trying to figure out why:

1. This makes it work. What is going on with the ORM that creates those fields once a logo is uploaded.
2. There is no helpful error message? like "logo not found" or "Company not setup" or anything other than a really unhelpful warning... should be an error.

The way i found this out was that everything worked perfectly when I loaded the demo data. I had a feeling it was something to do with how companies were setup and I noticed that the logo was missing so decided to add one.

I know this is almost a year late, but hopefully it might be useful for someone else here who finds this!

I don't know why it happens, but when I add a company logo the same issue resolved.

I've got the same problem. Did you find a solution?
