When we create Email from a RFQ (button "Send RFQ by Email"), the emails are delivered only to a part of our customers, all the rest is never delivered. And this behavior never changes, because someone who gets an email once, will always get emails and those who do not get an email, will never get one. We tried also to send emails to our own email addresses and the same problem appeared: some of us get the emails, other never get them! So we exchanged our email addresses, in order to find out what causes the problem: the email address of the "faulty" partner has been switched to a "proper working" partner. After this exchange the "proper working" partner does not get the emails anymore. So it is definitively the email address that is the key for this problem. However, to make this problem even more awkward: a different type (or template) of Email sent via Odoo (i.e. an automatic notification email of a Sales Order) is indeed send to the "faulty" partners! So it seems that a combination of email address and type of email / template does matter!
It is obvious that we checked all settings in Odoo several times, over and over again, but no wrong settings have been found.
Many thanks for your help!
Sven
Well, it is obvious that there are wrong settings, otherwise it would work in all cases. Did you investigate the log entries, the messages, emails and tracking information in Odoo? Any log entries from the MTA?
Just a thought from experiance. The problem may not be odoo but your email service provider
@Ermin Trevisan which log entries should I check? And where do I find he tracking information? When I look in the sent emails section of Odoo I can see all emails being complete; all recipients are listed. I will try to check the MTA logs, but at the moment I do not know how I can check this.
