Dear all,

I've installed auto_backup addon, installation went OK.

The default parameters seem OK :

host : localhost
database : myProdBase
Port : 8069
Backup Directory : /odoo/backups

When I try to save it; I get this message :

ValidateErrorField(s) `` failed against a constraint: Error ! No such database exists!
Error details:111Connection refused

I'm sure about the name of the db. If I try another port I get the same message except for the Error details:111 Connection refused which is NOT displayed.

So I guess it's a connection problem.

But I'm trying it as Administrator... Any idea how to solve it ?

Thanks !

Which one are you using ?

  1. the auto_backup from Yenthe downloaded from the app store

  2. same downloaded from github

  3. the auto_backup from OCA downloaded from github

  4. other ...

The 3 are basicaly the same, but there is little differences from time to time because of bug fixing and backports.

FYI, I've setup both OCA and Yenthe version on 8.0, two years ago and there were working perfectly.

Tell us also which Odoo 8 version you are using :

  1. 8.0 from Odoo —  unmaintained

  2. nightly build —  unmaintained

  3. the OCB version from OCA (bug fixing and backports)

There shouldn't be any important difference, but who knows ?

Hi, it's the Yenthe version from app store : https://www.odoo.com/apps/modules/8.0/auto_backup/

And I'm running version 8.0 from Odoo.

Thanks

I still have an unused 8.0 on a server. I will check the setup to help you.
