odoo (v8) Bill of material and product question? ​so i have a setup / logic issue and am seeking help, thank you in advance. we have a manufacturing facility  

here is an example of one product: skid plates - products break down,
item variants come in 1/2" thickness or 3/8"

-Front Diff Skid (1/2" or 3/8" variant ) 4x bd9 bolts 4x W1 washers

-Main Skid (1/2" or 3/8" variant ) 20x bd5 bolts 20x w1 washers 2x sr1 spacers 

-Rear Skid (1/2" or 3/8" variant, also *3 yr model changes)
 *2015-15    : 7x ba1 bolts , 7x w1 washers, 2x sr1.
 *2016 : 9x ba1 bolts , 9x w1 washers, 2x sr1.
 *2017-19+ : - 9x ba1 bolts , 9x w1 washers. ​

 ​ ​ Front, Main & Rear : sold as a "skid plate" in 1/2" thick or 3/8" thick
from there we also make A-Arm Guards : 3/8" only
Trailing Arm Guards : 3/8" only
 and Rock Sliders   : variants 3/8" and 1/2" thickness
standard hardware (8x ba6 botls ) - if installed with a skid plate (in lieu of 8x ba5 bolts that come with skid)
item uses same mounts but double up thickness in that location
standalone hardware (8x ba5 botls "shorter") (8x W1 wahsers) and have counter sunk washer holes *($20 fee)
(fee is added at variant value +$20)

so to make things even more confusing we offer an ultimate package,
 that is then bundled from everything above with shipping included in the price,
i ran in to trouble in the bill of materials,
 i can make separate bill of materials for each item,
ie  diff and hardware
then make another bill of materials for the skid, ie, diff, main skid, rear skid
then a third bill of materials for the ultimate, ie, skid, a-arm, trailing arms, rock sliders.

i figured for each variant, i had to have a different bill of material option for that variant
, so ie, skid, each year model rear diff resulted in 3 different bom, (6 bom all together with 1/2" or 3/8" options)

then with rocksliders, only one variant applys to the ultimate kit,
*(standard with skid)

im trying to have sales be able to select the right items,
 manufacturing to decipher the right items needed,
 i want the inventory for the items, and bolts automatic,
 and i want to make the bom available in the work orders so the picking / packing person can back the bolts in groupings for that item , ie. diff skid HW bag, main skid HW bag etc. to go with the instructions sent to the customer.

 i want to make it so they can select the variables on the skids, and make it delectable in ultimate, as it is for the single ite, . ie, 1/2" or 3/8" or do i have to make a bom for each and every grouping option, and have a product or bom that reflected each option>?what is the best method to reflect these simply? thank you for reading this and applying your incite,this is one models option, its about the same for another 40 models so i need to get something in the works, currently i make the instruction manuals with a pack list and they pack form that list, but want to contain all that in odoo 8, and record the hardware inventory for reordering , and manufacturing of some parts to the packages, a s well as allow for re-ordering of individual items or hardware packs,
