I work for a company with multiple users within a manufacturing facility, being able to log worker time against a job is critical to our processes, so when we saw and tested the Shop Floor app, things were looking up.
However, when it comes to running our live environment (with MO/Work Orders), the Shop Floor app is so slow that it is actually un-usable.
From what I can tell, the speed is due to the interface loading every order as default (standard filters are: MO Readiness = assigned & State = Ready/In Progress. This then brings through our 2,648 work orders... When opening the Shop Floor app via the button on the works order, this performs very well, but this is opened a pre-filtered screen (1 record).
My questions are:
- Has anyone else experienced lag/crashes within the Shop Floor app?
- If so, how have you managed to combat this?
- Is there any way to change the default filters?
- Is there any way to change the 'Limit' (similar to this video)?
- Is there a way of completely removing the 'All MO' tab, as this is possibly the resource drain.
The Shop Floor app could be a game-changer for our company, but unfortunately we are unable to use it until the performance is improved.

I have already reported it to see if there is something in the background that can be changed (server performance etc.), but I was looking for a way to do these changes too, just in case both in tandem would provide substantial improvements
