I'm new to Odoo and just learning its structure and uses.

What i want to do i create a quotation for a product with the layout saved with the template created so i

Create a template and edit it i add images / text to make it look good and save the template to use again and again.

When i do a preview it looks good and exactly what i want to email to my customer but when i download / print the PDF i do not get this layout i only get the product / prices / total listed with no images and not the layout i created (i'm selecting the correct template as in preview it is as required)

Is there a way to achieve what i want, a quotation with images / text and prices etc to email to my potential customer using a template / created and edited.

Thank you.

Thank you, just had a little closer look at the PDF quote downloaded or printed that is.

I have noticed that the company logo is sent to PDF when created but not the images or text from the created template.

Done as you said above but still no luck getting the text and images from the created template.

Only get the product description / price / quantity total etc...

Anything else i can try please..

Cheers.

Enable developer mode -> go to settings -> system parameter and add new parameter:

Name: url.report

value: http://localhost:8069

You will change the value depend on your url which you are using to run Odoo.

Then log out and login again.

Please look into the below link related to the same issue:
