I'm working on a custom app.

Two questions:
1) I want that my items in calendar get a different color depending on a status. I know how to do it but... Is there a way to decide the specific color for the specific status (ex. Undone - Red, Done - Green)?
2) I have appointments of half an hour. If I create appointments of half an hour the box will be so small that it will show only the starting and ending date. Is there a way to get the "half an hour" space higher?
