I want to set a default currency while calculating the payroll, is it possible to do it without installing the "account" module; I guess we were able to configure currencies, only if we installed "account" module.
why I am asking this question is, I don't want to create journal entries for my payroll and I am not going to do anything with "account" module. However I want to configure the default currency for the payroll process. Is it possible to do so?
The currency model(res.currency) is defined in base module not account.
Default company currency can be set from settings/ users/ companies. But the payroll does not depend on currency if you are not creating an accounting entry, it just calculates the total amount as a number.

thanks Mohammed for your answer, but I need a clarification; why there is two options to configure the main currency of the company in both accounting and in company menu?
