Hi, there,

you should check whether the field(short_description) is defined or a spelling mistake in the mail. message.

if not,

use the inherite from the mail. message class and define one.

like this:

class mail_message_improved(models.Model):
_inherit = ['mail.message']
short_description = fields.Char()
