Hi!

To compute my event quotes, I need some information from the customer and their request:

• The customer entity type (company, NGO…) -> Information is on the company
• When their event is taking place -> Information is on the quote
• Etc…

I can have my sales team type in everything in the quote calculator, but I'd like to avoid having them type the same info twice every time:

• Type in the entity type in the quote calculator, then make sure to update the company
• Type in the event date in the quote calculator, then make sure to update the quote
• And so on…

Since I can plug in lists in my quote calculator, I could use several lookups to fetch the data I need automatically as long as it is properly set on the related entities:

• Update the company entity type
• Update the event date
• Update everything else…
• Reload the quote calculator. Bam, everything is computed already!

This would lead to beautiful beautiful data structuration paired with the wonderful quote calculator system.

So, my issue: how do I know what quote I am currently on?

If I had the quote ID, I can find the opportunity and the customer and all related data.

The quote is displayed in the corner, but I don't know how to find it inside the sheet…

This is on Odoo Online so version 18.
