In Odoo 17 I have multiple modules like CRM, Project Management, Timesheets, Sales, etc. How would I add permissions so that a specific user can only view a specific module If I want one of my users to see only the Project Module on the Dashboard how would I do that?

I hope you're doing well.

To allow a specific user to view only certain modules in Odoo, you can adjust their access permissions in their user settings. This way, the user will only see the permitted modules on the apps dashboard.

You can refer the attached images.

Dependencies of these modules will also be installed. If you don't need these dependencies, you can uninstall them via the Apps menu.

Hope this will help you.

Thanks & Regards,

Hello,

Go into Settings--> User and Companies (In the top menu) --> Users and then choose the user you want.

Scroll just a bit down and you will find the name of all the modules you have and what permissions you want to give you users on them. Permissions differ from module to module. Not all permissions are available for all Modules.

Also, keep in mind, if you keep the permissions Blank (or empty), it means that the user will not have access to this specific module.
