Hello,

I'm in full reflection to replace my odoo community database to a enterprise version.
I'm really interest by your feedback if you have done the same things.
I'm worry about OCA modules and datas.
Indeed, if a OCA modules add a column in a standard table, what appened when we do a migration (ex 9 to 10 or 10 to 11) ?
It's seem that in this case, we need to pay to migrate odoo ?
What is your expertise in this case ?
Is there some solution to migrate data in this case ?
Indeed, i use some OCA module to complete standard version and i don't want to have difficulties to migrate in this case.
OCA used modules example :
   - website helpdesk : because i can invoice time past with this module.
   - Account fiscal year...

 Hi,

Odoo/Odoo partner can give you best solution for your work, besides this you can check following tools/links in order to upgrade your platform.

- Any custom code must require code migration OR In case of community modules you can find right version for your goal. (In this case you need to also consider changes of database from one version to another and need to move data in database according.)
- Database migration: You can take help of Odoo/Odoo partner. Checkout open-upgrade. (Nice answer by faOtools on this question for migration.)
