Good day,
I recently acquired a licence for Odoo Enterprise and used it to upgrade my Odoo community. Of course before upgrading I made sure that I only had two users as that was the amount of users that I bought a licence for.
All worked well, until we got an email that we have too many users and our database will expire in a month. I had noticed that my dashboard said I had 3 users, but as clicking it only showed me two users I thought this was just a bug, but after this email I looked further and I found a Demo user that I could only access using superuser mode. I archived it (as I couldnt delete it) and I thought the problem would be solved, as now the dashboard also said we had 2 active users, but we received the same email another time.
We asked our sales rep and she said that we have a total of 34 users (2 portal users, and 32 regular users), this of course didnt make any sense to me. As I couldn't find any information about a similar problem nor do I feel like paying a licence for 34 users if I only need 2, I went ahead and archived all contacts that came preinstalled (around 30) and I hoped that'd be the end of it, but either the system hasn't recognised it yet, or it didn't work. According to our sales rep this is because we are on premise using a database that used to be community, and she told us we should create a new database on Odoo. Obviously creating a new database is a last resort which I would only consider if all else fails, on top of that I believe to be within my rights to be hosting on premise (well on VPS to be fair).
Could anybody help me finding a solution to the excess users that odoo seems to recognise but cannot be found anywhere?
