In Odoo 8 there is a partner balance report that shows the balance per partner for a given point in time. I'm looking for the same report in Odoo 9 (Enterprise), but cannot find it. There is an Aged Payable/Receivable report, which is kind of the same, but it only seems to work for the current point in time. I need to make a report of the previous fiscal year.
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Accounting
- Inventory
- PoS
- Project management
- MRP

I found the module "Extra Accounting Reports" adds a report "Partner Ledger" that details all unreconciled entries per partner. Not exactly the same but it does give me the same info.
Sure. You can also go to Accounting > Reporting > Business Intelligence > Invoice Analysis and the filter by "Invoiced", "Customer or Supplier" and finally group by Partner as showed here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxqHe5rtIxY0UWRKMGx0OEVQSTA/view (courtesy of bst) Generally you can use the pivot table to pull out some of the reports you don't find in Odoo 9.
Hi Steven,
You need to activate the filtering menu for the Aged Payable/Receivable report as follows:
- Activate the developer mode: Click on the question mark icon in the top right corner of your Odoo Screen, then on "About" and finally on "Activate the developer mode" in the popup screen.
- Go back to Accounting > Configuration > Financial Reports
- Search for and open the Aged Payable/Receivable form in Edit mode
- On the right side of this form, you can set the "Analysis Periods" to "Based on date ranges" and save.
- Refresh your screen and go back to the Aged report. You'll be able to apply filter.
Hope this helps.
Regards
This is very interesting. However, it's doesn't seem to produce the report I need. I need the balance of each partner at the specified date. If I understand correctly, this report is always giving an aged balance, meaning invoices that are already past due? According to this Gap analysis, the report I'm after is indeed missing: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1HzzOtwe1-0cgbw1DwwVeHI79nwXmD8ub468u4NOpffU/edit#gid=0
Thank you Patrick Kasongo Lukusa. This information is really helpful.
